     Adelaide

SA Water’s new 6 star Green Star headquarters was procured by strategically managing the process of going to the market for development proposals. Lead by strategic HR executives, the organisational journey to transform SA Water’s workspace is Australia’s leading example of using the workplace to support broader cultural change. Day 2 of the event will be hosted in SA Water’s headquarters and will focus on a detailed review of the project.

The Santos Centre, a finalist in the 2008 AFR Boss Space Awards, also illustrates the impact of reinforcing organisational values with a workplace that is sustainable, inclusive and more supportive of team based work. Other site visits during the program will include new workplaces for the Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure (DTEI) and SA Tourism.

Presentations by senior Real Estate and Organisational Development executives, including Peter Ward, Head of People and Culture at SA Water, will focus on: - strategic project objectives - processes for achieving leading outcomes - planning and change management strategies - benefits realised by organisations - challenges faced during the process - lessons learned for those embarking on similar workplace projects

A key benefit for participants is the opportunity for discussion amongst a peer group of leaders dealing with the challenges of workplace projects, whether planned, underway or completed. Attendance is open to senior executives and workplace professionals based in end-user organisations, with a limited number of guests ensuring high quality debate and knowledge transfer.
